Denver Gilliand, CEO of DSG Capital Advisors, was born into a pilot family. His dad, Jerry, was a Captain in the US Air Force who later worked as a flight instructor in Memphis. Jerry moved his family from Tennessee to Minnesota in 1967, when he secured his dream job as a commercial airline pilot with Northwest Airlines. Captain Jerry “Tennessee” Gilliand flew for thirty-three years.
